WildSpots Policies

Kittens receive KV (killed virus) 4 way shot of Rhinotracheitus, Calici, Panoleukopenia and Chlamydia. They are also dewormed with Panacure before they leave for their new homes.

All of our Kings and Queens are tested periodically for leukemia and FIV and are certified negative.

None of our cats live in small cages.

We have several special "small apartments" for moms with kits with-in our home and we have a large enclosed 45ft wide (heated) indoor/outdoor facility so all our breeder cats can enjoy fresh air, climbing on specially cut tree limbs and playing with each other.

For those of you who like "under-cover" kittens, we try to  see that all of them get to the opportunity to sleep with their WildSpots care-takers (a few at a time - we're not insane!). Our Kings are very involved in the rearing of the kittens and our kings do an especially fine job of socializing the little ones and teaching them the ins and outs of human correspondence.

We feed all of our cats and kittens meat from time to time (mostly chicken) and provide free choices of either Science Diet, Diamond Kitten, or Purina Pro kitten food. We also mix Pedialite for kittens  in our water 50/50 which provides additional nutrients. Our kittens also get servings of Nutrical, a vitamin supplement.

We feed all types of meat except kidney and raw fowl, but mostly chicken. The little guys usually eat as much meat as a 12 year old human child - they will amaze you! We typically feed the meat the last thing in the day and our feline folk usually go right to sleep and that's a good thing! The first year is crucial to health and size, so if you want a big healthy kit, the more meat (protein) the first 12 -16 months the better.

We at Wild Spots consider our Cheetoh's as our friends and companions and that is our number one guideline in their treatment. Our kittens go to their new homes knowing that not only are humans the "alternate food source", but they are likely candidates for fun & games and nap & lap partners as well.

We all hope that you enjoy your WildSpots Cheetoh friend as much as we have in raising them. Should you ever have any questions or concerns, we are always here to help you in any way we can.

GUARANTEE:
We
provide a 100% health guarantee for the first 7 days of ownership for your new cubs. The guarantee policy basically covers the kit against any genetic defects or any type of incurable sickness. This gives the new buyers plenty of time to have their own veterinarian check out the kit and run any tests they desire. WildSpots is not responsible the vet examination costs.

In addition, there is a 1 year guarantee for any type of unforeseen genetic health problems. This health guarantee does not cover injuries or accidents that happen to the kit during transit or after arriving at their new home. Also, if a kit should be found diagnosed with a simple medical problem that can be cured easily, such as colds, skin rashes, etc., this would not qualify the kit for replacement.  Additionally, in this case, any veterinarian costs would not be the responsibility of WildSpots Cattery although some allowances for a certain needed care may be allowed with prior approval from WildSpots Cattery. When our kits are shipped via airlines, a state certified health certificate from a  veterinarian is required and is always accompanied in the shipping paperwork. So when the kit leaves our cattery, to the best of our knowledge, they are in a healthy condition.

If the kit is to be used for breeding, the guarantee is extended for 2 years for any breeding-related or genetic problems. If your vet does find a health issue that would fall under our 100% guarantee replacement policy, simply provide WildSpots a written statement by your Veterinarian.  Should the health guarantee be necessary to utilize, the kitten will be replaced with a healthy kitten of the buyers choice.
